OK, it doesn't count as "planning", but I am pretty sure that after Christmas and all that malarkey, I'll be feeling a little less than my best. As always, along comes my big sister with the perfect solution!
Amy is a very creative, encouraging and most importantly skilled yogini. She is also a creative writer, entrepreneur and all around amazing energy and spirit to be around. And did I mention shes MY sister? I'm so lucky!
When she told me she would be running a Queer Women's Yoga Retreat in January, I was like a little puppy dog, jumping up and down and panting! "How can I help? How can I be involved????" I asked (because little sisters have the perennial right to ride coat-tails, I'm sure of it). And my wise big sister decided that her retreat would be well suited to the Laura Pankoke 2013 Planner Workbook and Calendar. Hazahh!
So, my lovely Australian lovelies, read on for the details of this beautiful retreat - there's a lot more to it than yoga! And if you're sadly not able to make it to Castlemaine (do try - it's gorg), still watch this space for details and offers around practice notes and tips!
Spend a nourishing day with other queer women exploring yoga, journaling and enjoying an organic lunch, juices and chai.
Give yourself space to recover from the holiday season. Set clear intentions for 2013 in a safe and welcoming space. Learn simple techniques to detox and recharge your body, ready for a radiant new year.
The beautiful studio is in Castlemaine, an hour drive from Melbourne's inner north. Public transport and station pickups easily arranged. Accommodation advice warmly provided. Make a weekend of it!
All women are welcome, from beginners to advanced (trust me peeps, she really means this for true - don't be scared! My first lesson with Amy I barely knew which end of the mat to stand on :p and she was really supportive)
Registration ($120) includes a full organic buffet lunch, detailed practice notes and juices and chai.
